Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Marine Electronics Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong electronics background and a passion for working on marine vessels. As a Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting various marine electronics equipment including navigational, communications and entertainment systems.
Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and repairs on marine electrical systems and other components
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues on boats and marine equipment
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure vessels are in proper working condition
- Assemble, install, and test new equipment or components
- Fabricate parts as needed for repairs
- Installs all wiring, connections, hardware and equipment for various types of electronic devices
- Follow schematics and technical manuals to complete tasks accurately
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns professionally
Qualifications:
- Previous experience preferred but not required
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to use power tools effectively
- Ability to weld, fabricate, and assemble marine components
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction
- Familiarity with sales processes for marine parts or services
